Step 1 - Let's Chat
We start with a complimentary consultation, getting to know each other, answering your questions, and beginning to plan your session from the very first conversation.
Step 2 - Your Session
Everything is pre-planned so all you have to do is show up and enjoy it. Sessions are relaxed, fun, and guided from start to finish. Most of my clients come back year after year.
Step 3 - Your Artwork
After your session, I will guide you through selecting your favorite portraits and designing the artwork that will bring your home to life, delivered complete and ready to hang.

Hey, I'm Lisa!
I'm a proud mom of three+ almost-grown children (already have one son-in-law), a wife to my best friend for 32 years, and I've had a camera in my hand as a journalistic portrait photographer since 1993.
Because I'm currently navigating the "almost grown" stage with my own kids, I know exactly how fast these years disappear.
I GET IT! And I want to make it easier for you to see the memories-in print-every day!
My goal is catching the real stuff: the toddler giggles while running away from the tickle monster, a high school senior who wants to remember how much they love their shoe collection or their first car, or the way a grandpa beams when I tell him to hold on tight to "that cute thing he’s married to."
My 35 years behind the lens have taught me that photography isn't just about a "smile and wave" at the camera. It's about the connection, the personality, and—most importantly—making sure those moments actually make it onto your walls. I'm here to use my lifetime of experience to help you celebrate your family's story, from the first planning meeting to the moment you hang your new favorite portrait in your home.

How long does a portrait session take?
You want these memories to be relaxed, joyful and totally you. Sessions typically run 60-90 minutes depending on what we map out together at your consultation.
What should I wear to my portrait session?
This is one of my favorite parts of the planning process. Once your session is booked, you will get styling guidance tailored to your family, your space, and the images we are creating together, so you walk in feeling confident, not stressed.
How much does it cost?
Every client's reason for investing in custom portraiture looks a little different. We will talk through what your full investment could look like at your consultation, based on the space in your home and where the artwork will live. The best next step is to schedule a phone call.
Do you sell digital files?
Because everything leaves my studio as a custom art piece, I do not sell digital files on their own. My clients love having a tangible heirloom for their home, plus they receive a matching digital image for social sharing with every piece of artwork that they invest in.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions happen at a mix of locations depending on the story we are telling, from outdoor spots around St. Louis to intimate studio settings. We will choose the fest fit together during your consultation.
What happens after my session?
About two weeks after your session, you will come in for a guided ordering appointment where we design your artwork together, so you are not left scrolling through hundreds of files trying to decide on your own.
